Compliance, Insurance & the Broward County Recertification Process

If your building is approaching the 40-year recertification mark, or the newer 25/30-year milestone inspections, the roof is a primary focus for inspectors. Failure to maintain a compliant system can mean significant fines, insurance cancellations, or evacuation orders. The High Velocity Hurricane Zone designation also means stricter fastening, material and wind-uplift standards.
Insurance mitigation. A new, high-wind-rated roof may help lower your commercial premiums.
Code compliance. We stay current with the Florida Building Code to help projects pass inspection.
Proactive inspections. We catch structural weaknesses and drainage issues before they trigger a Notice of Required Inspection.

HOA & Multi-Family Coordination

Our team works directly with board members and property managers, providing clear timelines, safety protocols and progress updates throughout the project. Work is scheduled and staged to minimize noise and disruption for residents.

Our Customers Love Us

“Called Hogan after getting the runaround from two other companies, and the difference was night and day. They showed up when they said they would, walked me through exactly what needed to be done without any pressure or upselling, and the crew was professional and tidy start to finish. The work itself is solid.. no leaks, no callbacks, no surprises on the invoice. In a business where it’s hard to know who to trust, these guys earned it. Highly recommend if you want it done right the first time”

Frequently Asked Questions

We've Got Answers

High-quality TPO or PVC membrane systems typically last 20 to 30 years when properly maintained, while Modified Bitumen systems generally reach the 20-year mark. Thermal cycling can shorten effective lifespan without proper installation technique and a preventative maintenance plan.

White cool-roof systems like TPO. These membranes reflect a significant portion of solar radiation, reducing HVAC load and cooling costs. We can provide a cost-benefit analysis showing projected energy savings.

Broward County generally permits a maximum of two roofing layers, though conditions apply. A full tear-off is often the better choice regardless: it lets us inspect the deck for hidden moisture damage. We perform a core analysis before making a recommendation, and all work meets HVHZ standards.

Yes. We maintain a rapid-response team for commercial leak repairs throughout Fort Lauderdale and Broward County. We focus first on active-stop repairs to contain damage immediately, then develop a long-term solution.
